How sweet is this!? I'm proud to say my first KISS design is up for sale now on kissonline.com/ I did this design a while back through The Black Axe of course and I was excited but at the same time definitely not giving my hopes up because these type of jobs are a bit harder to get approved from me because my style is not totally suited for it. None the less I took the challenge and won. BOOM! In your face!


Now I can prove to my parents I did something in life.
Now if I can only do a shirt for Julio Iglesias then I shall truly earn their respect.

I tweeted about this yesterday but I seriously can't get over how much this ceramic Shrek figure looks like a product of me and an ogre mating and producing offspring. It scares me.

I use it as my wallpaper on my phone and enlarged the image as a reminder of hideous I would look if I shaved my head...



...so I shaved my head today.


I initially didn't want it this short but the clippers I was originally using were super crappy so I borrowed my friends (which probably had pubes in it). His only had a guard 2 on it so I said fuck it. Now I look like a pinhead.

Getting Crispy up in here!

I finally got a chance to have all the Crispy Tees in my possession and I got to admit it's a really rewarding feeling to see how they all turned out. I can't wait to rock these around and not feel awkward like when I wear shirts with my own design on them.

I had a blast last weekend. I played shows in NYC, Philly, Boston and Richmond with None More Black, GatorFace and No Friends. Well actually, only one of the shows was with all three bands and it was nuts. It was at Best Friends Day in Richmond, VA. I also ended up playing a cover with Strike Anywhere also. I thought I was gonna die but how awesome would that be!? Play in 3.5 bands then croak right afterwards!

The Black Axe has a new side company! It's called Crispy Tees and we couldn't be more stoked about it!


I think Yardley put it best (mainly cause I'm retarded at explaining things) by saying "Crispy Tees is humor tee brand that is the brainchild of the 5 dudes that make up The Black Axe. I know what you’re thinking "oh god not another one", but we really feel these shirts are great. We spend a lot of our time talking shit and coming up with stupid ideas, but we have never had an outlet for this stuff. So we decided to make a brand out of it.


Our goal was to make shirts we would actually wear and i think we accomplished that. We have a ton of other ideas on deck and we will be coming out with new stuff all the time so if you’re into these keep checking it out.
